Dovi Farkash, CEO
Dovi brings diversified management, business and financial experience gained as Director of Business Development and VP Finance of M-Systems / Sandisk (Nasdaq: SNDK), VP Corporate Development & IP of Objet Geometries / Stratasys (Nasdaq: SSYS), CEO and CFO of Aposense (TASE: APOS). Dovi is highly experienced in leading transactions including commercial deals, private funding and M&As in Israel and worldwide. Dovi has also led financial teams in IPOs in Israel and the USA, and in the day-to-day financial management of public companies. Dovi holds Law and Accounting degrees from Tel Aviv University and he’s a Lawyer and a CPA.
Prof. Simon Litsyn, CTO
Professor at Tel Aviv University and a world-renowned expert in information storage and transmission. As Chief Scientist of SanDisk, Simon was the author of breakthrough storage technology. He is the recipient of the prestigious 2015 IEEE Reynold B. Johnson Award in Storage Technologies for pioneering contributions in flash-based memory design. Simon was also a founder of two start-ups in the areas of communications and nanotechnologies.
Yosi Rahamim, VP R&D
Technological leader with senior management experience of multidisciplinary R&D teams. Yosi brings more than 20 years of R&D experience to Tsofun, as VP R&D and Engineering of Cardo Systems, Director of the Broadband R&D Division in Motorola Solutions, Shiron Satellite Communications and an elite technology unit in the IDF. Yosi holds a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. (both cum laude) in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from Tel Aviv University.
Victor Koretsky, CMO
Victor brings to Tsofun a broad experience of more than 25 years in various combinations of technology and business leadership, including multi-disciplinary R&D, marketing and product management, global sales and business development in public and private companies such as DSP Group and Provigent (acquired by Broadcom.) Victor holds an M.Sc. (summa cum laude) in Electrical Engineering from MTUCI and an MBA from Heriot-Watt University.

Noam Presman, Director of Algorithms
Noam is an expert in Error Correction Codes with vast theoretical and practical experience. Before joining Tsofun, Noam was an algorithms engineer at SanDisk and a teaching assistant at Tel Aviv University. Noam holds a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. (both summa cum laude) and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University.
Nissim Halabi, Director of Research
Nissim oversees Tsofun's research efforts, bringing extensive knowledge and experience in transforming research into practice. He has over 10 years of R&D experience in various positions, including in an elite IDF technological unit, dealing with communications, security and medical device technologies from its inception. Nissim holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, and an M.Sc. and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University.
Alexander (Sasha) Smekhov, Senior Research and Algorithms Engineer
Alexander brings to Tsofun vast experience in cellular communications research and development. Before joining Tsofun, Alexander worked as a research engineer at Marvell Semiconductor and served in an elite R&D technology unit in the IDF. Alexander is serving as Tsofun’s delegate in 3GPP RAN1 standardization group. Alexander holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, and an M.Sc. (summa cum laude) in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University.
Eldad Meller, Senior Algorithms and RTL Engineer
Eldad is leading the RTL development at Tsofun. Before joining Tsofun, Eldad worked as a designer and R&D team leader in an elite technology unit in the IDF. Eldad led the development of a variety of advanced communication systems. He has a vast experience in RTL architecture and real-time embedded systems design. Eldad holds a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University.
